What Sets Bridgewater Builders Apart from The Rest?

Quality is what separates the good from the bad. Both in our lives and in our work, quality is the defining factor in how we evaluate and are evaluated by others. In short, it determines how we feel about our efforts at the end of each day.

Construction is no different, and the secret to achieving the highest level of quality for any job starts with having standards. We’ll take a deep dive into all that Bridgewater Builders excels in quality.

LP Smart Siding

● First impressions are important, and when it comes to houses, the exterior needs to POP! That’s why Bridgewater Builders always choose LP Smart Siding for our exteriors. As the most durable siding on the market, engineered wood combines the aesthetics of real wood with engineered wood strand technology for superior durability as well as the beautiful appearance of wood siding. With four components of protection, the process adds strength and helps our products withstand impacts, freeze/thaw cycles, high humidity, and helps resist fungal decay and termites. Smart Siding is lighter in weight and the board lengths of up to 16 feet may result in fewer seams and translate into less waste on the jobsite. It’s also available in 16 versatile prefinished colors, or paint whatever color you’d like!

Marvin Windows

● Bridgewater Builders exclusively uses Marvin windows for the brand’s quality products, longstanding reputation, and high customer satisfaction overall. This company offers energy-efficient and durable windows engineered to withstand all types of weather while minimizing the loss of heating or cooling from inside the home. Ultrex fiberglass is a strong, durable, fiberglass proprietary to Marvin and it is eight times stronger than vinyl and three times stronger than vinyl/wood composites.

Amish Cabinetry, Trim, & Closet Shelving

● Amish made anything always seems to hold a higher standard than the rest of the marketplace, and that’s even more true when it comes to building materials. That’s why Bridgewater Builders uses as much Amish made building materials as possible in each and every project. The number one thing that sets Amish cabinets apart from other cabinet options is the quality. These cabinets are made with the highest-quality wood. We’ve learned that Amish cabinetry beats out the competition when it comes to wood quality, sturdiness, smooth drawer and door operation, and longevity. We also love the flexibility of the Amish cabinetry when it comes to designs. We can dream up any kitchen design and they will tackle it without hesitation. And unlike particle board closet shelving or wire closet shelving, we source all our closet shelving and trim from the Amish. Nothing beats the sturdiness, longevity, durability, or beauty of real wood building materials.

Quartz Countertops

● We are serious about our kitchens at Bridgewater Builders. We know, if the wife is happy, everyone is happy. This is why we always install Quartz countertops in all our kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Quartz is popular due to its beautiful natural stone look, durable nature, and wide range of colors. Quartz is one of the hardest minerals around, making it highly resistant to scratches or stains. The sleek surface won’t absorb liquids, making cleaning up spills and splatters a breeze. Quartz countertops also come in many colors and patterns, allowing us to create an eye-catching design that is truly unique.

 Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

● Each Bridgewater Builders home is adorned with Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring in the kitchen, dining room, living room, hallways, laundry rooms, and sometimes bathrooms. LVP is significantly more durable and resistant to everyday wear and tear compared to hardwood and laminate. Its scratch-resistant surface is ideal for high-traffic areas and homes with pets or children. Second, unlike hardwood, it is water-resistant and can even be waterproof, making it suitable for areas such as kitchens and bathrooms where moisture is common. This is a clear advantage over laminate flooring, which can warp or swell when exposed to moisture. Lastly, LVP is easier and less expensive to install than hardwood or tile and can mimic the look of various types of wood or stone, offering a high-end look without the high-end price tag.

Plush Carpet

● In every Bridgewater Builders Home, we don’t believe in skimping on cheap carpet. We always install plush carpet and eight-pound pad in every bedroom closet, and basement family room. Have you ever walked on a carpet and your toes sunk all the way down to the scratchy backing of the carpet? (Such a gross feeling) We wouldn’t like cheap, scratchy carpet and we know our buyers wouldn’t either. We always joke about how we could take a nap on the carpet in our houses because they are so dense and soft.

All Showers Tiled
(No Tub/Shower Surrounds)

● Tile is such a great opportunity to express style and creativity and at Bridgewater Builders we don’t pass on that opportunity. When other builders use tub surrounds it makes us sad, because it’s just another plain bathroom with no personality. Each shower and tub shower is a chance for us to try and create a space that is fun and beautiful. From different tile types to different tile sizes to different tile patterns, we try to incorporate modern styles into each shower. We love to make it fun!

Glass Shower Doors

● The high end, classy look of glass shower doors is simply irrefutable. At Bridgewater Builders, we always make sure the master shower has glass shower doors. In some of our houses, we install glass shower doors in every shower, excluding tub showers. Glass shower doors make the room feel so much bigger and brighter. We are always impressed with the final result of our glass shower doors and our buyers always are too!

Backsplash

● All too often, we see that other builders are not even installing a kitchen backsplash. Yet again another missed opportunity to make a beautiful statement in the heart of your home. Usually, tile backsplash in kitchens doesn’t even account for very many square feet, but those few square feet make a huge difference. It’s a way to express a theme or a color that you love! Backsplash tile is also so much easier to clean than your bare walls.

Finished Basements

● Who likes a cold, dark basement with studs for walls and concrete for floors? Not our buyers. That’s why every Bridgewater Builders home has a FINISHED basement. No work to be done by the buyer, just more beautiful home to enjoy. There are so many other builders that are stopping short and leaving a home unfinished. Well, when we start something, we’re going to finish it!
