We will not only be doing this through quality design, but as we move forward our kitchens will be custom built by the Amish and stamped with our logo. Our bathroom cabinets, interior doors, and trim will all be Amish built as well.

We care so much about our new builds that we will name each one and will place a Bridgewater Builders plaque by the front door to proudly claim it. It will be a sign of our quality and commitment. It will remind the homeowner and everyone that visits that they can be proud of their new home not only for this generation, but for generations to come.

The Vision

The world has changed and gone back to the small town feel of quality production. Even though many builders will never see or understand this vision, the product that we are producing should and will cause the marketplace to answer. As people look from house to house and see our designs and see our quality finishes, they will begin to ask, “How can I get a house built by Bridgewater Builders?”

The Demand

As the market demand changes, there are new opportunities. The first opportunity is the fact that we are sitting at around 8% inventory. What does this mean? Since 2004 the entire county of La Crosse, WI market has averaged between 500 and 700 single family homes on the market at any given time. At the bottom of the of the market, the worst of the recession which hit La Crosse around 2010, a two-year delay from the national market, the inventory was around 1200 to 1300 single family homes. For the past six months there has been around 78 single family homes for sale in the entire La Crosse County. From there around 50% of those are contract pending. This means that there are only 32 to 48 homes available for purchase at a price point of $0 – $1,500,000.00. Conclusion, this is the best building market in La Crosse County in several decades.
